Host a White Ribbon Night event
Be part of the social change movement.
Gather your friends, family, colleagues or local community club for an event that raises awareness, brings the issue to light and raises critical funds for primary prevention programs across Australia. It's real easy - you can make it as big or as small as you want. Have a night in, host an event, and #GetTheWordOut about men's violence against women.
1. Register & Plan your Event
Register your event with us and customise your fundraiser page. Get creative - make it a games night, BBQ, after-work evening - the possibilities are endless. Promote your event and get those invitations going.
2. Host & #GetTheWordOut
As you host your event, remember to #GettheWordOut and bring it back to the core issue of preventing violence against women. Look out for talking points in your Host Emails and access our suite of tools on your fundraiser page.
3. Wear white on #WhiteRibbonNight
This year we're asking everyone to wear white on Friday 26th July, and at your event. Let's paint social media with white and show our solidarity across the country with all those supporting the cause to #GetTheWordOut
4. Deposit your Funds
After your event is all done, make sure to deposit any cash donations you receieved at your event. Head to your fundraiser page, and deposit your funds. These donations will then be sent to White Ribbon on your behalf.
