Art in the support of white ribbon

To help raise awareness about gendered violence, and for me personally domestic violence,I am asking women who have experienced DV  or would like to raise more awareness to paint their hand white and place it on a black piece of paper to create a piece of art. I invite art works to be emailed, screen shot, sent to me  or displayed on your home or work window, instagram, Facebook  and Twitter accounts on Nov 20th and to get everyone to add the hashtag #WhiteRibbon.  I am an artist and art therapy is therapeutic. For me personally, art is healing and this is my way of saying “enough, no more” and to share my story in a non confronting way. This event is covid friendly by allowing artwork to be shared online and posted on your window at home and work. It also may encourage women to use art as an expression in healing.
