Join us at ACU Canberra Campus (Signadou) on Wednesday, May 8 between 12-1:30pm for delicious, fresh pancakes available by donation. All are welcome to participate in our advocacy efforts for White Ribbon's campaign to end men's violence and abuse against women.

As part of Primary Prevention Month, several students from the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program have organised this fundraising event to take place in the Blackfriars building gardens.

ACU values community engagement as a key means of advancing our mission in serving the common good and enhancing the dignity and wellbeing of people and communities. It is integral to our teaching, learning and research. ACU defines ‘community engagement’ as activities that build capacity and affirm human dignity through sustainable and reciprocal collaborations with communities who experience disadvantage or marginalisation.

As a student advocacy project, our group aims to build community on campus by inviting students, alumni, staff and the general public to partake in the events of the day. Above all, we hope to empower future graduates with greater awareness and capacity to change the status quo.

We encourage you to make a donation, join the White Ribbon mailing list, set up conversations at home, work, school or even begin a campaign of your own.

We hope to see you there!
