Running 103km in November – In Memory of Audrey Griffin & to End Violence Against Women
This November, I am dedicating myself to running 103 kilometres to raise awareness and stand against violence towards women. This challenge is deeply personal, as it honours the memory of my beloved teammate and friend, Audrey Griffin, who tragically lost her life due to violence.
Audrey was more than a teammate — she was a source of strength, kindness, and inspiration to all who knew her. Her passing is a heartbreaking reminder of the urgent need to address and prevent violence against women in our communities.
To honour Audrey’s life and continue the fight for change, we invite everyone to join a community run on Saturday, 29th November. This event is a chance to come together, support survivors, raise awareness, and show that we will not be silent.
Together, through every step and every kilometre, we carry Audrey’s spirit and stand united against violence. Let’s run for justice, for safety, and for hope.
Every step counts- for Audrey, for survivors and for change.
