Let's Picnic
City of Prospect invites you to an event in Memorial Gardens to
acknowledge White Ribbon
Day; a day to create awareness about and take a stand against
domestic violence (DV) against women.
Join
us in Prospect Memorial Gardens with co-founder of the Zahra
Foundation, Cllr. Arman Abrahimzadeh, to hear about his story and
campaign to raise awareness about DV. After the talks, listen to the stunning
sounds of local musician, Kelly Menhennett and watch Cassie
Zaccardo painting live on stage.
A
picnic-style lunch will be provided including barista-made coffee. We encourage
you to take the moment to enjoy your lunch on one of our picnic rugs and listen
to the music. Cassie Zaccardo will be creating an inspiring piece of artwork
that a lucky winner will be able to own after the event.
Your
ticket includes a light lunch, music performance, live art display, and an
entry to the art raffle to win the artwork created by Cassie Zaccardo*.
All
proceeds go to White Ribbon and the Zahra Foundation.
Please note that the event will commence sharply at 12.30pm. Please
allow sufficient time to arrive at the event.
We
invite you to bring your colleagues and staff, take the opportunity to have
lunch out of the office on a Friday afternoon.
Lunch
will be provided by Let Them Eat and includes vegetarian and
gluten-free items. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for specific dietary
requirements. Barista-style coffee to order from Café Komodo is also included. The catering
provided is valued at $20 per person.
*The
Cassie Zaccardo Art Raffle ticket sales open at 1pm on Friday 20 November and
will be drawn at the Ann Newmarch Survey Exhibition Opening on Friday 11
December.
