In conjunction with International Women's Day, CMBM is seeking to support those affected by domestic violence.
Violence against women and children is a problem of epidemic proportions in Australia. One in three women has experienced physical violence since the age of 15. Rates of violence are even higher for certain groups, such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
To help combat this, CMBM is fundraising under the banner of White Ribbon Australia and will match every donation, to be closed on March 11th.Â
Your donation will go towards developing and extending White Ribbon's prevention work which includes programs in schools, workplaces and the broader community along with initiatives to engage men, advocacy, community support and training. With your donation we can help stop this devastating issue that destroys families, health and communities. We can build happier and safer homes, highlight positive male role modelling and educate children so that future generations do not experience the same issue.
