Hello, my name is Isabella Whelan! Over the past year I have built up a fear of leaving my house, most days. This stems from seeing multiple girls on the news that have gone through my personal worst fear, at the hands of a man they either have never met or, mostly a man they once trusted.
As soon as I heard 92 innocent lives were taken this year, I felt like I needed to take a stand and bring awareness to this cause. I would like to introduce a walk I have organised to help end violence against women.
How can you help? JOIN ME!!
I will be walking 33km on the 8th of march, in 2025. I will also be selling merchandise to help raise money for the cause.
Where will the money go?
All the money raised for this event will go back to White Ribbon Australia. This will help them provide more educational resources, run more programs across Australia and carry out research to identify gaps in community knowledge about women's safety.
Please help me let our fellow girls, who grew their wings this year, that we are still fighting for them.
So proud of you my beautiful daughter
