White Ribbon Day 

Please join the City of Fremantle in supporting White Ribbon Day on Friday 19 November 2021.

The day is an opportunity to bring people together to raise awareness and commit action to prevent men’s violence against women. 

The Fremantle Community Legal Centre will be acknowledging White Ribbon Day with an installation at the Purple Bench in Walyalup Koort, small crosses will represent each women and children victims of family domestic violence, with the victims’ stories alongside. 

To accompany the installation, throughout the month of November Fremantle Library will exhibit photos of the stories. The Library will also highlight books and information to raise awareness. 
White Ribbon Day installation, presented by the Fremantle Community Legal Centre, in collaboration with the Community Development and Lifelong Learning teams. 

The White Ribbon Day installation will be moved and showcased in the Fremantle Library from Monday November 22nd. 
When: Friday 19 November 2020 | 11am - 1pm
