All human beings have the right to live a life free from violence and abuse. It is the overarching vision of the National Plan, to create an Australia free from all forms of violence and abuse against women and children and it's everyone’s responsibility to help achieve this.
White Ribbon Day is an opportunity to be a part of this action. To stop this violence, we need to change the attitudes and social norms that excuse or condone disrespect, sexual harassment and abuse. Australia needs men to stand up, speak out and act.
