Nirimba Tafe diploma of community services students

Our TAFE event will be a two-hour awareness and education event focused on respect, equality, safety and the prevention of violence against women.

The event will provide students and staff with information about violence and abuse, the importance of respectful relationships, prevention and how we can support positive change in our community. We also want to encourage men to be actively involved in the conversation and recognise that everyone has a role to play in preventing violence against women.

The event will include presentations, statistics, interactive activities and discussions, as well as information about support services and ways students and staff can speak up and become active bystanders.

Our aim is to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels involved and encouraged to be part of the solution.
