This August, our community needs our support!!

Foxy on Coolum is about creating/enabling community, so now we would like us to come together as a community to tackle this very important issue.

So many Australians are doing it hard right now. The COVID-19 pandemic has meant millions of us remain in lockdown and borders are closed.

What we also know is that women are experiencing a higher rate of domestic violence during the pandemic. An ANROWS report has shown that lockdowns and social distancing have not only seen an increase in violence, but also reduced the ability of victims to seek help.

White Ribbon is rolling out an ambitious new campaign to support people across Australia to take grassroots, community-led action to eliminate men’s violence and abuse against women and children – and they need us to be a part of it.

Over the next four weeks, with our help, White Ribbon aims to raise $75,000 through the #CommunityResponseFUNDraiser, empowering people in every corner of the nation to begin the hard work of bringing about real and lasting change.

We need you, your friends and family to support the Community Response Fund grants program.

* Each ticket will be 100 dollars for 2 guests - We will have live music and a special dinner package with the event ticket that will consist of 2 pulled lamb burgers and a bottle of Shiraz.

*60% of the ticket value will be your donation and will go towards the fundraiser!

* If the ticket is beyond your possibilities at the moment, don’t worry, you can still come, enjoy the live music and donate to the cause.

* All donors who donate $2 or more to the fundraising appeal are eligible to receive a tax-deductible receipt. We will collect your contact details and White Ribbon will have the receipt sent to you.
