Mareeba Community Housing Company Family Cricket Day

Mareeba Community Housing Company is holding a  community services family cricket day.  All other community support services staff, their families and any interested community members who would like to come along and either take part in its Family Cricket Day (modified rules) or to support their colleagues, family and other community members who take part are encouraged to contact Mareeba Community Housing for more details.    It is our hope that in conjunction with the Mareeba Cricket Club Association and Cricket Queensland the day will consist of:

- one or more modified rules cricket matches, 
- with the assistance of a speed gun hold a "Fastest Bowler" competition (held in the practice nets) 
- multiple small raffles (prizes consisting of signed cricket shirts, bat, vouchers at a local sports store)

Throughout the day a consistent message will be given, that Domestic and Family Violence towards women and children is not acceptable.
