At PsychMed we are not only committed to directly assisting those impacted by Domestic Violence, but also aim to enhance the awareness of the ongoing epidemic of violence against women in Australia.Whilst our trauma programs are aimed at addressing the consequences of violence, more must be done to stop the occurrence of violence! We must all do our part to change the attitudes that condone violence against women. PsychMed encourage men to become aware that they can be part of the solution, and want to highlight that together we can make a lasting change.
PsychMed will be hosting a morning tea at our city location and we welcome any one who wants to make a change. We will be collecting donations for White Ribbon as well as discussing how our service can impact those who are impacted by Domestic Violence.
