This activity is to raise awareness of the importance to stand up and speak out about domestic violence. During the students 50 minute lunch break we are holding fun and engaging activities from different external agencies as well as from the School Based Youth Health Nurse.
The agencies that are potentially attending this event include Youth Alcohol, Tobacco and other drugs service, our local domestic violence agency and the sexual assault service, along with support staff from School.
We are yet to finalise the activities for the day, however there will be raffles, signing/writing messages of support on cardboard ribbons, music and handball.

As the School already has many fundraising events, we are not fundraising this year. We are committed to spreading the word and sharing the message.

This will be promoted in the Schools newsletter, Facebook page and potentially the local paper.
