On August 9th, I'll be lacing up my shoes and running a full marathon at the Sri Chinmoy Princes Park Winter Running Festival to raise funds for White Ribbon Australia.
White Ribbon's mission is one I believe in deeply through working to end men's violence against women by tackling the root causes before harm occurs. What drew me to support this organisation is their focus on prevention rather than intervention. Rather than waiting until lives are already impacted, White Ribbon invests in changing the attitudes, behaviors, and cultures that allow violence to take hold in the first place. That approach makes a real, lasting difference.
Every kilometer I run on the 9th is a step toward a safer world for women and girls. I'd love your support, whether you're making a donation yourself or sharing it with friends and family, every contribution helps White Ribbon continue this vital preventative work.
