Currently in Australia, on average, one woman a week is murdered by her current or former partner. These women are our mothers, girlfriends, wives, daughters, colleagues and friends. White Ribbon Australia aims to change the attitudes and behaviours that support or excuse violence against women in Australia.

The Campbelltown City White Ribbon Committee, consisting of, Police, Council and supporting agencies, have taken a positive stand in supporting the White Ribbon Day campaign by holding an annual White Ribbon Day Convoy. As we are now in our 5th year, we would hope to see significant growth in promoting awareness throughout the wider communities. The Committee aims to educate the broader community and link them to services with the overall goal of changing a culture that men and women have set roles in society.

With your help, we believe we can create widespread awareness for men to become positive role models and enable leadership qualities toward social change and build knowledge and understanding of effective preventative methods in stopping violence against women.
