Perth Registry, Morning Tea

On Wednesday 18 November 2020, Perth Registry will be hosting a morning tea which will be one of many events taking place across Australia to raise awareness for White Ribbon Day, which commemorates the UN Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

As some of you would be aware, in Australia, one in three women have experienced physical or sexual assault in their lifetime. These women are our mothers, girlfriends, wives, daughters, colleagues and friends. The mission of White Ribbon Australia is to change the attitudes and behaviours that support or excuse this violence against women in Australia.

The White Ribbon Australia campaign objectives are:

• to create widespread awareness of the positive role that men can play in stopping violence against women

• to enable leadership, particularly by men and boys, to bring about social change, and

• to build collective knowledge and understanding of the effective prevention of violence against women.

Please join us to help raise awareness and if you would like to make a monetary tax refundable donation, please do so by following the donation link on this page.
